Zero Net Now Founder,
Anthony Aebi
I have been working in the construction field since 1995 after graduating from SUNY Stony Brook with degrees in Physics and Biology. I came to the field of Zero-Energy construction in 2007 when I grew tired of building stick-built homes. I ended up building, on my first try, the first rated Zero-Energy home and was awarded for the achievement in 2012 by the US DOE. I have not looked back since then and only attempted to improve the performance of each home thereafter. I have received; 8 additional Housing Innovation Awards from the DOE, 6 years running awarded the builder with the lowest HERS scores by NYSERDA, 2 awards from RESNET for the lowest HERS scores in the country, and 3 awards from RESNET for zero-energy. I was and industry sponsor in 2018 and 2019 for the DOE Energy Race to Zero Project with West Point Cadets and a judge for the 2020 DOE Energy Race to Zero Project. Along with these awards I also received numerous national industry awards. I have made presentations at several national and local building conferences for the work I have done in the field.
